CLASSES || Knotty By Nature

I have some exciting news to share today! I will be offering a series of classes at Knotty by Nature for any of you who would like to learn new skills in knitting. Below are the classes for mid December:

Knit the Jane Hat
All levels welcome
2 hours

Class Description:
This class will take you through all of the steps to successfully complete the Jane hat. This popular pattern features simple eyelet cables and a relaxed slouchy style that flatters everyone. Learn how to knit a doubled brim without seaming and mock cables that only look complicated!

When: December 13th, 6-8pm
Where: Knotty by Nature, 1704 Lillian Road
Class Fee: $20 (does not include materials or pattern)

Knit the Arbutus Cowl
All levels welcome
2 hours

Class Description:
In this class you will learn all of the necessary techniques to successfully complete Jane's Arbutus Cowl from her popular book ISLAND. Three tiers of horizontal ribbing are created by binding off and casting on, using the cabled cast on, to achieve a layered look without the need to double or triple wrap the cowl around your neck. The unique architecture of this piece is a gentle introduction to short rows. Walk away from this class with the beginnings of a stunning cowl that only looks complicated!

When: December 14th, 10am-Noon
Where: Knotty by Nature, 1704 Lillian Road
Class Fee: $20 (does not include materials or pattern)
